Work Experience (Selected Examples)

Monitoring

Developed and conducted Indoor Air Quality assessment after health concerns were raised by employees.  Identified numerous hazards at the facility which could have been contributing factors to positive mold analysis.  Provided reports and follow-up analysis to client.

Safety Compliance/Inspection

Conducted 29 safety inspections and 8 work center job safety seminars to ensure federal regulation compliance.  Identified and corrected 37 discrepancies and standardized reporting procedures.

Evaluate safety program management and Hazardous Materials program.  Validated 51 chemicals and 13 process responsibilities.  Achieved zero findings for 2 state and 1 corporate inspection.

Conducted Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) assessments for 125 work activities.  Validated PPE usage against company Job Safety Analysis for task.  Identified 11 opportunities for improvement that were discussed with program management and operations staff for plan development.  Followed up on plan implementation effectiveness and provided reports to responsible personnel.

Training

Led training for 2,152 Airmen in over 122 seminars designed to increase professional and life skills in areas of leadership, time management, safety, accountability, and communication, which led to being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

Conducted OSHA 10-hour General Industry safety courses to educate local waste management professionals on federal regulations.

Provided Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response training to various entities in industry, compliance, and education.  Annual training was updated and included interactive instructions with over 400 people trained annually.

Developed and provided hazard material transportation (DOT) training to various facilities in the printing and transportation industries.  This annual training included regulatory updates and introduction to technical resources in an interactive multimedia format to 64 people
