Position Description: Investigate, evaluate, plan and implement solutions to help our clients comply with environmental regulations at facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest. May mentor associate staff and interns on projects. Office in Spokane, Washington but will travel to industrial settings (less than 25% of time on average) and may possess environmental or safety hazards.
Responsibilities (In the fields of air, water, hazardous waste and/or safety):
- Develop complex permit applications and engineering documents.
- Maintain client relationships.
- Review applications developed by others for completeness and accuracy.
- Interact and negotiate with clients, local regulators, and peers on permit issuance.
- Supervise Associate Engineers/Interns
- Develop and implement effective compliance management systems.
- Participate in developing and conducting professional and technical training
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering
- P.E. or C.I.H.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Effective technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- 5+ years of experience desired
- Additional consideration for completion of a Master’s degree and/or permitting experience.

Compensation: $60 – $85K D.O.Q.
